WA LEAGUE COMPETITION

Our club fields a large number of teams each year from juniors through to adults and State League for the WA League competition also known as Pennants.

League co-ordinators ensure the ‘home and away’ fixtures are well organised with a pre-season ‘get to know your team members’ introductory event and training sessions.

METHOD: Forms will be available in this page in the lead up to each season. Alternatively, you can submit the form via email to [email protected] and pay the fee via internet transfer.

Please remember to include your name for identification purposes.

Please Note: Completing a nomination form does NOT mean automatic selection in a team. Sufficient nominations must be received (at least one more than the base team number) to ensure a team can be entered. If you cannot commit to play most weeks, do not nominate in a team. When participating in team practice or competition, players are required to wear recognised tennis attire.

Please note that to keep in line with recognised International Doubles Scoring and to try to ensure that matches are completed before lights must be extinguished in accordance with local council restrictions (10.15pm maximum) No Ad Deuces – Receiver’s choice (if Mixed then serve Man to Man & Woman to Woman) Tennis West League Operations will endeavor to Zone teams to minimize travel distances wherever possible.

You must be a financial member of Blue Gum Park Tennis Club to play in the league competition for Blue Gum Park Tennis Club. League Nomination Forms received from non-financial members will NOT be accepted.

Players who have played for another club in a previous League Competition will need to inform the coordinator who will then do a transfer online.

NOTE:  GRASS COURTS CLOSED JUNE TO OCTOBER – subject to change.

Courts are available for use from 6.00am to 10.15pm 7 Days a week.

Please Note: Outside the above times, the ‘Book A Court’ online booking system is available to book Hard and Synthetic Grass courts for casual play. No booking facility is available for Grass Courts.

GRASS COURTS CASUAL PLAY (Summer Season October to April)
Members only are entitled; when Organised Club Social and Competitive play is not scheduled; to use Grass courts free of charge during daylight hours. Courts cannot be booked as availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please note: Members who play Saturday Social and Tuesday Mid-week Ladies Social tennis will be rostered from time to time to assist with afternoon/morning tea and set allocation duty.

JUNIOR SOCIAL & JUNIOR COMPETITION TENNIS
