MONDAY NIGHT TENNIS

There are currently 61 players registered for MNT this term (44 members and 17 non-members; 28 men and 33 women). We fill the 12 lit courts every week. Player standard varies from average social through to strongly competitive. The improvement of many of the players, who have remained part of the group for a number of years, has been remarkable.

This extremely successful programme, run by Bill Thomas, is a great revenue raiser for the club and brings new members to our club. The overall standard is strong, but less experienced players are also welcome. We are very grateful to Bill Thomas for his continued contribution to this valuable programme.

Conditions of the Membership

This Membership applies to Adult players (over 18 years of age).

The player must be NEW to Tennis, or a Social Tennis Player returning after an extended period of absence e.g. 10 years or so, depending on circumstances.

This membership is not available to players with previous Competition Tennis experience.

This membership is not available to players who have held Playing Membership at any club within the last 9 years.

The offer is limited to the first year of a Playing Membership at BGPTC.

Where the player joins part way through the membership year, as an incentive to continue membership, a pro-rata discount will apply for their membership fees at the completion of that year, for the period required to bring their membership in line with the Club’s Membership year (1 October – 30 September)

Pro-rata fees will be calculated on a monthly balance for every month or part thereof left to run.
