Blue Gum encourages membership applications of all standards. If you are intending to play in club organised social tennis, prospective members need to be able to play to a reasonable level (being able to serve, rally and keep score). Beginners to tennis may be encouraged to participate in some coaching before joining in club tennis play.

Acceptance of this membership application is subject to the applicant having an official Competition Tennis Rating (CTR) OR playing to an acceptable level of play as judged by our Club Coach, Club Captain or a member of the Club’s Board of Management. For junior applicants, a CTR is only required if you intend to play league tennis. A CTR is NOT required if you only play junior social tennis.

I hereby apply for Membership of the Blue Gum Park Tennis Club (Inc.) (the Club) and agree to be bound by the Club’s Rules of Association and By-Laws (displayed on the Club’s noticeboard/website) and the By-Laws of Tennis West and Tennis Australia, which are located at: www.tennis.com.au/about-tennis-australia/reports-and-policies/policies

I agree for the Club to register me in My Tennis, a Tennis Australia player data base, by providing my name, date of birth, postcode, phone number and e-mail. The Club utilises My Tennis for membership database purposes. By default, members will only receive communications from the Club. Club members registered in My Tennis have the ability to change their own settings and opt in and out of receiving additional Tennis communications. I also acknowledge and accept that from time to time, the Club will take photos of members on the courts and around the club, some of which I may be included in. These photos may only be used responsibly as part of the Club’s general communication initiatives such as the website, Facebook page or newsletters. (Note: If a photo of you is to be specifically used for printed promotional material, signage or newspaper publication, we will seek your approval with prior written consent). If you wish to be exempt from any photography at all, please advise the Club Secretary via letter or email to: [email protected].
